Winter!

Busy busy for the winter. It started off with my rock band 'The Daybeats' playing to a packed house with Kelowna's 'Yukon Blonde' (aka: AlphaBaby) at the Barking Parrot in Penticton. We also just finished recording our Demo, the tracks our up on our website. (www.thedaybeats.com) Be sure to check them out and let us know what you think!
This winter we will be touring throughout BC and western Alberta with another local band based here in the Okanagan, 'Closing Iris'. The tour is to promote their newly released EP! There is a website dedicated to the tour with info on both bands and all tour dates are posted. www.closingiris.com/tour
This winter I am also working on a good friends album laying all the bass work down for it. This is another EP consisting of about 5 or 6 tracks. Recording is being down in Penticton with a local engineer.
I also appeared on Steve Jones' newly released album "Clear Blue Sky". I played my fret-less bass on this recording. This bass is always a pleasure to record with.
Christmas this year I am performing in the musical 'Oliver' that is being held at the Penticton Lakeside Resort. It runs the week before Christmas. Shows are evenings Wednesday through Saturday with a matinée on Saturday also. For more info and tickets contact the Penticton Lakeside Resort.
