Its been a while since I have been on here and thought it was time to do a little updating. The past year has been a busy one with a new job and a new fiance! Things are going very well and now music is coming back strong in my life as well. My band the Daybeats have added Ashley Bjorndal (my fiance) and Mandy Cole into the vocal mix. The Daybeats will be recording a couple demo tracks over the winter as well as playing a few shows around the Okanagan Valley and around the Vancouver area.
My focus in my musical direction over that past years have varied from Jazz to Rock to Hip Hop to Funk to Country and every thing else in between including a few musicals such as "Hair" and "Oliver." As of lately with my new engagement and my career path I have had to re look at where I wanted to focus my other time. The Daybeats has always been a way to embrace all of my music tastes and styles in one outlet. We can never really describe our true placement in the music categories other than alternative I suppose. We all have different backgrounds in our musical pasts and thats what makes us a fun group.
